THE DOWNSIDE OF CHRISTIAN MARRIAGE

I was raised in a very strong Catholic family. I don't say that lightly, being raised American. My Grandparents came here while their Children where young. They found comfort in Portuguese communities because they where surrounded by like-minded individuals. God was major part of our life. When calamity came, my Mother would Pray. When misfortune struck our family, it was because we didn't live as the word has taught. When you go astray from your teachings, we find a downside. To a Christian, I don't think Marriage is wholly for love. It's about family. It's when you find a like-minded individual that shares the same values and morals. Surely, it's best to Marry within the same faith because the values need to be the same. I guess it can be summarized as Jesus explained, "your yoke mate". Aside from my siblings, I see people in Church trying to form a belief. It seems to be forming a belief on whether God exists or not. The confusion is absurd to me. A...
