Tariffs, More Tariffs, and Economic Confusion

Tariffs have become a mile-marker for Donald Trump’s second term as President. Growing up in New Jersey, the man was cemented in my mind as a casino-owner and builder. Who would have thought, years ago, that he’d become President—not once, but twice? Yet here we are. Now, let me be clear: I agree with his policies. Something is broken in this country. Many people feel America isn’t doing well. We transitioned, somewhere around the Clinton era, from an industrial economy to what’s now labeled a service economy.
