The Signal Amidst the Noise

I never put a lot of thought or research towards Drug Addictions, especially not towards Drug Addiction involving harsh or more addictive Drugs. For example, some highly addictive or harsh drugs include Percocet, Crack Cocaine, and Heroin. Recently, I found myself in a Relationship that brought Drug addiction close and personal. It was a daily problem and very alarming. When the addict is someone loved, like a Sibling, Family must share their addiction and resulting hardships. Although most addicts probably conceal their addiction, it is not difficult to identify an addiction when they are close. First, all should know there are a fine line, and a huge difference, between Drug Abuse and Drug Addiction. Second, experience shows those addicted do not know their standing. Therefore, they believe they are Abusing Drugs and could stop anytime. In contrast, they are dependent upon the Drugs. I was raised in a very strong Catholic family. I don't say that lightly, being raised American. My Grandparents came here while their Children where young. They found comfort in Portuguese communities because they where surrounded by like-minded individuals. God was major part of our life. When calamity came, my Mother would Pray. When misfortune struck our family, it was because we didn't live as the word has taught. When you go astray from your teachings, we find a downside. To a Christian, I don't think Marriage is wholly for love. It's about family. It's when you find a like-minded individual that shares the same values and morals. The nation is going through a major Insurance Crisis. On a Daily basis I read a headline pertaining to the Insurance Plan President Obama is striving to pass. For several years, I've come to know more and more people that where visiting Clinics or having to borrow money from family in order to have needed Medical or Dental work. This plan needs to pass and I think most Americans will feel better having their Taxes put towards the Well-being of their fellow Americans'. There is a lot of negativity coming from the Industries of Medicine and Insurance. Clearly it's bias stemming from their concerns of security. However, they must realize there is a beast coming forward that would crush them regardless. As fewer people are able to find Affordable Insurance or plans to cover their Medical expenses, they will begin to seek alternatives or simply not be as quick to see the Doctor. I truly feel like a little kid, I'm so damn excited! Doing something to make someone else happy is always something that makes me feel good. When it's your Child, it feels even better! I thought Amber's Mother was going to give me a hard time. I awoke yesterday and had a concise message, "You added a day to the trip". I'm a very spontaneous person. Planning is pretty new to me. Love this song. So hard to hear the lyrics the way Eddie Vedder holds syllables and carries a note (The Man holds some air in his lungs). It's a masterpiece of music. The lyrics are mysteries and relative to losing someone, IMO. The Performance, sung by Eddie Vedder says it all. The lyrics are speaking two perspectives.
