It wasn't eating fried bacon, gas-heat fumes, mold, or any of those other typical, "Be Healthy," or, "Healthy-Home," concerns that hit my radar in 2016. I have met many people, thus far, on this journey of life. Seldom do I meet a stranger and not find common ground or come to realize we both know a person. I've seen many places too. I've lived briefly in Chattanooga Tennessee, Pomona California, and New Jersey. I've ventured through the Atlantic Ocean to the Caribbean. Traveled to Canada where I first learned to Snow Ski with my siblings, grasping few French words that struck a chord with the few Portuguese words I know (Thank goodness for the Romance Languages or should I say, Latin/Roman Empire). There has been reasonable growth in my life, financially , over the past two years. Some growth morphed from tragedy, some from carefully selecting investments, and most of which from hard work that demanded a great deal of free time. Embracing this growth, my attention has focused on my accomplishments and a new direction to channel currency. Compensation for my time (Production) has increased with a job rather than my business. Although I am still working in the same sector (Transportation), I have sold assets, closed my business, and returned to a former employer. This change enabled me to save, invest, and enjoy my income. Recently, I enjoyed an annual raise in addition to increased demand further inflating my compensation. My business venture turned from being President of a Company to owning equity in Corporations'. I do not have a single thing on my mind for writing, so here I go, roughing it in to the Blog. I'll start with yesterdays activities. It is my weekend with Amber! Scots cousins Lexi, Braydon, and a Baby Lucas, spent the weekend here too. I took them for a walk to the park. I brought two soccer balls. Along came a few of Scot's friends from School (Parents obviously lack self-control with speech). One of the goals were flipped on its side. Additionally, the field was to big for the younger children. So we played with one goal. Quickly, the girls formed a team against the boys. The girls were fool of energy, "Yay, girls rock," while the boys were very humble, "Okay". I played Goalie (Mistake, my knee is still lacking strength). I would say the most popular aspect of the Green movement is Solar Panels. With all the incentives the State of New Jersey is offering, in addition to Federal, there are a lot of people installing them on their homes and businesses. Unfortunately, I heard the rebates have been dropped in the New budget. Therefore, a lot of people and businesses may have missed the bus. Becoming a Solar Farmer in New Jersey is promising. If you have the money and the rooftop or space, it is an amazing investment. The SREC program allows Solar Farmers to sell the energy they generate. It is a simple system of selling electricity. When your system generates 1,000 KW of Electric, you are given a credit for the Energy you put in the Grid. Farmers can then sell their credits online or to their local utility.
