A recent conversation with my wife prompted me to write this post. It came to light that a young adult is aggressively funneling income toward a 401(k). While saving money and anticipating the future is always a good idea, this made me reflect on financial priorities and how they might be structured differently. Here are some of my thoughts. Savings Priorities I categorize savings into three distinct time horizons: Short-Term, Mid-Term, and Long-Term. While individual allocations will vary, I believe it is important to consider these different priorities.
